BRED & EAGER TO WORK

Originally developed in Wales to herd cattle and sheep, Corgis are tough, agile working dogs. Their low stature allowed them to nip at heels and dodge kicks, making them fearless and quick-thinking partners on the farm. Their intelligence and eagerness to make them quick learners, enthusiastic partners, and loyal friends for life.

SIZE & TEMPERAMENT

Pembroke Welsh Corgis stand 10-12 inches tall and weigh 25-30 pounds. Despite their compact size, they possess remarkable stamina, intelligence, and a bold, confident personality that makes them excel in any task. They're excellent with children and other animals.

A TRULY VERSATILE BREED

Today's Pembroke Welsh Corgis excel as working dogs, performance athletes, and devoted family companions. Their intelligence, eagerness to please, and adaptability make them quick learners and loyal partners. Corgis thrive in active households where they have a job to do and plenty of interaction with their people.

HEALTH & LONGEVITY

With proper care, Pembroke Welsh Corgis typically live 12-15 years. Responsible breeding with health-tested parents helps ensure puppies have the best foundation for a long, healthy life. Regular veterinary care, proper nutrition, and daily exercise contribute to their longevity and quality of life..

HEALTH CONSIDERATIONS

Corgis have some hereditary health concerns. Responsible breeders screen for PRA, von Willebrand's disease, and degenerative myelopathy. Their long backs make them prone to IVDD, so maintaining a healthy weight and avoiding excessive jumping are important. Proper diet and exercise are essential to prevent joint problems

CARE & EXERCISE

These energetic companions thrive on daily walks, playtime, and interactive games with their families. Their weather-resistant double coat sheds seasonally and requires regular brushing. Corgis are happiest when they have fun activities and quality time with their people!
